Chronic Disease and Aging: The Challenge of Alzheimer’s Disease in Quebec

Speaker: Howard Bergman, MD, Chair, Task Force charged with proposing a Quebec action plan on Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders.

In November 2007, Dr. Bergman was asked by the Quebec Minister of Health and Social Services to establish a task force with the mandate to propose an action plan on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, from prevention to end of life care, including the research agenda.
The proposed Quebec Action Plan on Alzheimer’s Disease will be made public in the first half of 2009.
