Dr. Kumar completed her family medicine residency training at the University of Toronto (U of T) in 2002. She was the Meredith Fellow in Occupational Health in 2003 at St.Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, and has been practicing Occupational and Family Medicine since. She completed her MHSc in Family and Community Medicine in 2006 and was recently promoted to Assistant Professor within the Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) at the U of T. In 2008 she became a Certifcant of the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine. She is currently an attending at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. and continues to maintain her academic involvement with the DFCM at the U of T.
