Did you have any post operative deaths after tonsillectomy, although it is rare complication- anaesthetic deaths from chloroform has been known to occur, heamorrhage in the post op period with aspiration into trachea has been a cause for death in rare cases.

Tonsillectomy for 55 year old female with Ulcerative Colitis

55 year old female grav 0 patient on Remicade for Ulcerative colitis(controlled) has a symptomatice enlarged left tonsil with sleep apnea. Health is very good. Would there be a risk?
